- Respect for each other and all participants
- Respect for and safe care of equipment
- Members to be dressed appropriately for the activity
- No use of bad language on any site, activity or venue
- Safety rules to be adhered to at all times
- The range will be controlled by a team member. (A team leader if a major event using more than one instructor. No exceptions)
- All damages to be reported as soon as possible and ensure repairs are carried out promptly.
- Instructors to be vigilant at all times both on and off the range
- Instructors to be aware and considerate of other range users
Team Rules
- No smoking on the range
- No mobile phones to be used on the range
- Any mobile carried for emergency reason must be switched to silent
- Where team radios are required these are not to be misused
- When on the range instructing, items of team uniform to be worn
- Team uniform is not to be swapped, exchanged or disposed of to any non team member
- Full team uniform must be worn at opening and closing ceremonies or any other special or formal event where the team is represented
- Session logs to be kept up to date and where possible independently verified
- Health form to be completed and filed with team administrator
- CRB number and date must be recorded on Health Form
- Copy of First Aid Certificate to be filed with team administrator
- Copy of Archery Certificate or GNAS to be filed with team administrator
- Under 18’s must complete a permission to camp form signed by a parent for each camp, event or activity
- Under 18’s are not allowed to instruct without a responsible adult in attendance
- New team members to be invited following introduction
- Training must be completed prior to joining the team
- New members to be accepted by the majority of the team unless there is an exceptional objection
- A team member will be asked to leave the team should any non compliance of the standards be found and following a meeting of the majority of the team
- The senior instructors will form an arbitration panel if and when the need arises
- Team members must be CRB checked through either The Scout or Guide Associations
- Team members must agree and sign the code of conduct and a copy be filed with the team administrator
